Dreamers
Kanagawa Park is undergoing construction of a stormwater main line, requiring half of the park to be temporarily enclosed for approximately eight years. A commission was granted to paint a mural on a 70-meter temporary enclosure wall facing the other half of the park with playground equipment, which will watch over the children. The artist will work on this mural throughout the duration of the exhibition. This large-scale mural is a story of a rabbit, a bear, and their friends on an adventure through the vastness of nature. A dreamlike landscape will unfold with the harmony of natural motifs associated with the park, such as trees and cherry blossoms, captured in the world of ink drawings.
