Imaginary Sphere 2024
This work consists of (1) a soundscape workshop to listen to the sounds of the city, (2) a sound montage workshop using sounds made from objects brought by participants, and (3) a sound installation that interweaves the sounds of the city with the sounds (music) of all participants which is structured from the exhibition, “Imaginary Sphere 2023-2024. This work aims at “listening” to the process created together with a diverse group of people.
Denshi Onkyo People
The Denshi Onkyo People Project is a participatory art project initiated by composer and sound artist Takuro Shibayama whose aim is to create slightly experimental, often considered “esoteric” music with a diverse group of people. The project encourages participants to enjoy the experience of creating music together, rather than just receivers of the music, but as artists making their somewhat strange music.
