MIKAN TABLE 2022
The MIKAN TABLE 2022, originally conceived and designed as “MIKAN TABLE,” was designed and produced as a mobile FM radio station, ticket booth, and counter space for the Yokohama Triennale 2005. For all venues at that time, triangular construction cones bearing the Yokohama blue color were used as guide signs. For the 2022 version, the same blue triangular cones (approx. 70 cm high) were used as table legs assembled into a tight cluster, topped off with a wooden board to serve as a table. By combining the size, color, and arrangement of the triangular cones along with the shape of the tabletop, an infinite number of variations can be produced. MIKAN TABLE 2022 is a versatile design incorporating variety and diversity.
