Snack Fence

By reconfiguring the temporary construction fences used to demarcate spaces, we created “Snack Fence,” a place where people can connect with each other. The interior is furnished with chairs and counters, just like a snack bar, and people can freely enter, but it is a little closed off, creating a strange sensation. At two other locations in the Portside district, “Gacha” (capsule toy vending machine) have been installed, where visitors can obtain goods related to the “Snack Fence” and items that introduce public artworks scattered around the Portside district.
